The Opportunity
Aon currently has an opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to join our Napier branch as an Account Executive. This role would see you working closely with the Account Managers in the team and to support Domestic clients. As a key point-of-contact, you will engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels. Day to day, you would be accountable for:

  • Assisting with client quotes and renewals
  • Managing client claims procedures
  • Preparing policy schedules, client presentations, and reports
  • Working with clients’ insurance providers, law firms, and external vendors
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects alongside the wider team.

About you
To be successful in this role, you could have a background in either insurance broking or underwriting with a working knowledge of insurance products. Ideally, you would have experience working with a range of small to large client profiles and can build effective working relationships. Additionally, you should have:

  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritise deliverables
  • Good rapport building and stakeholder management skills
  • Business-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to learn IT systems quickly and efficiently
