The Company

My client is a well-known brand which has been operating in New Zealand since 1932. The company has fantastic backing from their parent company and is going from strength to strength. It employs almost 100 people. This s a fantastic opportunity to join a close knit and tenured finance team Based in Manakau. This role is 24 hours a week and can be extremely flexible on which days these need to be worked.

The Role

You will report to the finance manager who has been with the company for over 20 years and be an integral part of their team of 5 in the finance function. Your key responsibilities will include.

  • Undertake monthly review of accounts payable
  • Ensure all invoices due for payment are approved in a timely manner
  • Accurate and timely processing of all approved accounts payable invoices and credit notes/reconciliations
  • Ensure payments are made on time and the client is not overcharged for any service
  • Carry out statement reconciliations as required

Skills & Experience

My client is looking for someone who has the following.

  • Accounts payable experience
  • Organisational skills
  • Good understanding of basic accounting
  • Microsoft Excel
