Administration Assistant with Reception Duties

Full Time (37.5 hours/week)

HELP Auckland

We are looking for a great Administration Assistant with Reception Duties to join our team. This is your opportunity to be part of a growing team doing great work. Make a real difference within your community by supporting the delivery of a quality of service that honors and empowers the women and children we serve. HELP Auckland provides services to survivors of sexual abuse, serving our community since 1982.

With your abilities and positive attitude, you can develop your administrative and reception skills while working alongside another member of the team in a supportive environment. We are looking for someone to be part of the team who is kind with “can do” attitude and knows what it takes to keep an office running smoothly. Duties will include day to day tasks within the admin space such as greeting clients, open/closing of the property, administration duties, data entry, managing email inboxes, reporting, looking after the upkeep of the property, working on ad hoc projects, and assisting the Administration Manager.

Do you have:

  • Belief in the core values and vision of HELP.
  • Administration experience in various areas including office administration tasks, upkeep of a building, part of health and safety and making people feel welcome on arrival.
  • Property upkeep and maintenance working with external stakeholders/contractors.
  • Professional telephone manner with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your time and tasks efficiently -multitasker working closely alongside another team member in the same role.
  • High attention to detail and care.
  • Able to build excellent relationships both internally and externally
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to seek a resolution and improvement where necessary.
  • Intermediate MS Office suite skills.
  • Be motivated, friendly and display a “can do attitude”, adaptable to change.
  • Strong work values and a great team player.
  • Have a Driver’s Licence – at minimum a restricted
  • First Aid Certificate would be an advantage; however, training will be provided.
