The Architecture Programme is seeking an Administrator /Technician to support our growing discipline. This newly creates position supports vital functions of the Degree programme and along with our tauira (learners) and staff.

The successful applicant will have:

· A desire to support tauira, kaiaka and ahorangi

· Outstanding organisational skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Help in outreach activities, setup and organisation

· Strong relationship building skills

· Be adaptable and have a focus on customer service

· An ability to understand Otago Polytechnic’s partnership with Kai Tahu

· Be able to integrate sustainable practices within your role

In the role you will be able to think on your feet and problem-solve with your daily interactions with tauira and staff. You will order and distribute class resources ensuring that equipment and work spaces are maintained to a safe and tidy standard. A high level of computer literacy is required for this role and you will be able to develop new systems and processes that enhance the learning environment.

Experience in the creative industries and in particular the architecture industry would be an advantage.

You will enjoy collaboration, as you will be working co-operatively with the wider College of Creative Practice and Enterprise and other parts of the organisation. It is expected that you will be an effective partner by your commitment to Te Titiri o Waitangi.
