The Role
As an Associate Data Engineer you’ll work within a supportive team that thrives on sharing and growing their knowledge and experience ensuring you’re picking up new skills in this fast-paced consulting environment. You’ll gain practical experience as you work on building and delivering data and analytics solutions in customer projects alongside our experienced team of Senior and Principal Consultants.
From the initial scoping and analysis through to data engineering, data modelling and building data visualisations you’ll be working on all stages of the project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for sourcing and extracting data from a variety of systems using technologies like Azure Data Factory (ADF) or SSIS. You’ll know the importance of structuring data and may know data modelling methodologies such as Inmon, Kimball or DataVault. You’ll be passionate about data visualisation, Power BI, and most importantly understand the importance of delivering insights with data!

The Person

You Will Have
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a commercial environment
  • Tertiary Education in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or other STEM related degree
  • Experience with or exposure to a data warehousing, data modelling and cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry, which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team
