The IST Delivery team within the Parliamentary Service is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with the ambition and desire to grow and expand the existing business analysis capability for core business applications used by both Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk.

The Business Analyst will work closely with colleagues to share their knowledge and experiences to assure quality outcomes for our customer.


Three plus years’ business analysis experience in IT BA roles

Proven experience in business analysis methods and techniques and documentation

Proven experience with system enhancement implementations

Practical knowledge of project management and system development lifecycle methodologies (including exposure of Agile/SCRUM)

Knowledge of user-interface design and wireframing


Enjoys working with an innovative team and is a team player

Has a strong can do attitude

Motivated to make a difference

Strong customer focus

The appointing base salary for this role is $86,941 to $95,989 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills, experience and relativity (remuneration band extends beyond the appointing salary range to account for tenure progression).
