Mō te tūnga | The role

We are seeking applications for an experienced, and friendly administrator to provide a professional admission and enrolment service with responsibility for specific groups of students.

This challenging role will help to grow meaningful relationships with our overseas Exchange partners and their students.

Some tasks of the role include:

  • Assessing applications for admission, supporting student enrolments and working with academic staff to determine credit
  • Coordination of incoming and outgoing students, ensuring relevant and timely information is provided and ensuring students meet compliance requirements.
  • Supporting events that assist international students to study successfully and feel welcome.
  • Providing excellent service to students seeking to transfer to study at Lincoln University
  • Pastoral care - keeping in touch and providing ongoing support

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Two or more years working in a customer facing administration support role
  • Completed tertiary study in an administrative or computing field (preferred)
  • The ability to interpret and administer policies and regulations
  • Excellent communicator - both personable and professional
  • Previous experience using databases - Peoplesoft and Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Detail oriented and able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent customer service
