This position has come about due to expansion in our Christchurch office. We’re looking for a team player with previous shipping experience, who can effectively communicate with people in all areas of our business.

Duties will include:

  • Entering and tracking milestones for orders and providing reports to customers
  • Air and Sea – quoting, bookings and invoicing
  • Liaising with trucking companies and arranging inland cartage and devanning
  • Regularly communicating with your customers and assisting in all aspects of international freight including offsite customer visits as required

  • Speed and accuracy in data entry (Cargowise experience preferred but not essential)
  • Professional conduct and presentation

2+ years previous NZ freight industry experience and knowledge of international shipping and Incoterms is a must.

Shipping is a fast paced environment so applicants need to be extremely well organised and be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
