The Raukawa Charitable Trust (RCT) has been a provider of quality community initiatives throughout the South Waikato since 1987, and we are proud to deliver a wide range of iwi-led initiatives in health, social, treaty, cultural, and environmental sectors, to the communities that we serve.

The Tiwai Hauora Group is on a path of growth, breaking new ground by establishing new services, and developing existing services. As a result of this, new roles are being created to provide support within the Tiwai Hauora Group.

The Role:

The Director of Therapeutic Services is a senior leadership role within Tiwai Hauora, supporting the Group Manager by leading the development and delivery of therapeutic services throughout the Raukawa takiwā.

This role will have a very strong development focus requiring well proven project management skills. The Director of Therapeutic Services will represent Tiwai Hauora at senior stakeholder levels, negotiating contracts and new services with stakeholders, and will champion the Raukawa Kaupapa Practice Framework, ensuring service delivery and quality are responsive and at a very high level.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Senior leadership, including support to the Group Manager, which involves providing strategic support, knowledge of sector trends, and research
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Practice and clinical leadership, including development, training, and mentoring
  • Quality, compliance, contract and policy management
  • Annual planning, reporting and monitoring
  • Service development, including project management and staff management.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of therapeutic services (such as Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling /Therapy) Qualifications in a related field would also be an advantage as well as experience delivering services within a Te Ao Maori context with the ability to provide exceptional practice and clinical leadership to Tiwai Hauora.

Overseeing the development of Innovative kaupapa Therapeutic Services; Managing high- performing teams, Senior Project Management.
