The Stoaker Room in Cromwell are on the hunt for an Experienced Sous Chef to learn the art of Barrel Cuisine.

Our way of cooking provides a truly unique dining experience, showcasing fresh New Zealand cuisine coupled with some of Central Otago’s award winning Wild Earth wines. Our food is cooked in old Pinot Noir wine barrels and is steamed and smoked to enhance the flavour of our ingredients.

We are looking for someone who would relish the challenge of utilising their skills in this unique and dynamic environment: You must be willing to work both in the busy restaurant kitchen and off-site at catering events throughout New Zealand. You will be reporting to the Head Chef. Our restaurant is open Monday – Sunday and your shifts will be rostered over a 7 day a week basis with hours between 10am to 10pm.
