Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Asset Manager to join our growing organisation.

TToH is a Ngāti Kahungunu mandated, kaupapa Maori values-based health and social services who have been successfully providing services for whanau for over 35 years. These services are delivered from Mahia to Rimutaka.

The purpose of this role is to lead the support services team and oversee the provision of efficient, effective, and financially viable support services across key areas of the organisation: -

  • Facilities and Asset Management
  • Procurement
  • Health & Safety and Emergency Management

This is an important and vital role to support the various mahi that is conducted across our sites.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, support, engage and grow the support services team members to deliver results aligned to TToH’s philosophy, vision, mission and strategy.
  • Implement and monitor systems to ensure the ongoing security and maintenance of all property (owned and leased) and assets.
  • Engage proactively with managers & staff to ensure input on proposed facility usage when undertaking new projects.
  • Provide leadership and management of the Health & Safety system including Emergency Management (CIMS)

Suitable candidates will have:

Essential Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification/s in related discipline
  • Relevant computer skills
  • Current and valid full Driver’s License

Essential Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience delivering corporate services to a mid-large organisation
  • Property and asset management experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain management
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Preparation of and working with budgets
  • Thorough understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Ability to be creative, manage risks and work under pressure. Energy and flexibility will be required
