Our Taupo team is on the hunt for a Maintenance Engineer to assist in the smooth running our maintenance contract. The role is a critical part of the wider team and includes planning and undertaking schedule maintenance, identifying and recommending pavement defects and repairs, responding to emergency incidents/accidents on the network, daily tracking of activities & crews, managing projects including budgets.

About The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be challenged with delivery of the maintenance programme and minor projects. Your day to day activities will include but not limit to:

• Preparations of work packages for maintenance works
• Ensure compliance on site for all crew and subcontractors
• Co-ordination of site delivery with suppliers and operations teams
• Daily trackers and regular financial reporting
  

About You

You will as our Maintenance Engineer hold a tertiary qualification in civil engineering or working towards one:

You Will Also

• Have experience and highly skilled in using RAMM contractor
• Effective communication skills in confidently communicating at all levels
• Excellent use of MS Excel, Word & Outlook and project
• Experience in managing work crews
• Current Drivers’ License
