What you will do

Our Office Assistant provides a range of administrative support including function bookings and administration, handling external correspondence, meeting and greeting visitors to the office and over the phone, document management, and assisting staff and management with general admin as required.

Please note: This is a part time role for 2 days per week: Mondays and Tuesdays.

What we need

We’re looking for someone with considerable office administration experience, including an understanding of SAP especially SRM, purchasing/accounting and e-travel.

You are someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for all visitors to our office and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Strong organisational and planning skills enable you to effortlessly manage multiple demands with ease, while remaining flexible and adaptive to changing needs and priorities. You have sound judgement and the ability to manage your own space and take action when required.

You are an effective team player who can communicate confidently with others and builds positive working relationships.

The minimum citizenship and residency criteria for security clearances to be granted by the NZ Defence Force are as follows:

Low level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
