Your Role:

Interislander have exciting part time opportunities for motivated Customer Service Representatives to join our team at the Wellington Ferry Terminal on a fixed term basis. We have six 20 hour per week positions we are looking to fill. Could this be you?

As a Customer Service Representative, not only will you provide exceptional customer service delivery to our passengers, you will also:

  • Coordinate passengers and their bookings
  • Assist with ticketing and check-in services for both passengers and commercial vehicles
  • Ensure customer’s luggage is well looked after and properly labelled
  • Provide general travel advice and information to our passengers

Your Skills:

We are looking for people with exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude who are passionate about the service they deliver.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong customer focus with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Have a sense of urgency and work with speed and accuracy
  • Be a great problem solver
  • Maintain your composure and help keep passengers calm in high stress situations
  • Have impeccable attention to detail and a talent for multi-tasking
  • Have exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a moderate level of physical fitness as some lifting of passenger’s luggage is required
