About the role

We have a great opportunity working for a highly successful NZ owned company that distributes a range of medical equipment and consumables to health care professionals. They are now on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join their Purchasing team. Looking after a category of products you will be responsible for all aspects of purchasing and stock management to have the right stock in the right place at the right time. A methodical and analytical thinker you will have the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies and find solutions.

About you

· Previous procurement or purchasing experience in order processing and stock management

· Analytical skills for inventory analysis

· Excellent time management to manage a busy workload

· Loads of initiative and sense of urgency

· International shipping experience/understanding of freight forwarding an advantage but not essential
