As Regional Manager for Southern Business Banking, you will lead Commercial Banking across our Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin teams. Kiwibank is on a journey to better off, we have a huge agenda, big ideas and a lot to work for; it’s an exciting time to be joining us and it’s going to be super rewarding to lead the team through our transformation at a time of significant growth for Kiwibank Business Banking.

This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for someone who is aspirational with providing unbeatable experiences for business customers, while leading a team through a transformation journey and a period of change and growth. The Regional Manager will provide organisational leadership within the region by supporting the execution of the wider Kiwibank strategy and providing clear and inspirational direction to the region, while supporting team members growth, development and learning along the way.

Ideally You Will Have a Mix Of The Following

This is the perfect leadership role for someone who balances both the business, customer and team members needs and experiences.
  • A capable leader who understands what makes an effective business banking team and has a strong customer focus.
  • A leader with good business acumen and a strong referral network across the South Island
  • An understanding of market forces with an eye for the technology and global trends that are influencing the financial services market
  • An strong understanding of the NZ business market and effective at building networks and relationships quickly
  • A natural leader and coach who share insights with the team and thrives in helping team members succeed
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change; we are undertaking a significant transformation which you will need to lead and guide your team through
  • An innate desire to succeed - we want to be customers’ 1st choice in business banking
Our Regional Managers are pivotal to our success, and we are looking for a leader who can provide strategic thought leadership and contribute as an active member of the senior leadership team within Business Banking.
