Here at Ballance Agri-Nutrients we are afteranenergetic andenthusiastic person to join usas a Hub Operator in a permanent full time position basedat Timaru.

Armed with the passion to offerexceptional customer service, you willperform a range of activities,includingloading andunloading spreader and bulk trucks, processing fertiliser orders and controlling stock. Bagging of fertiliser will be required at times and you willbe expected to worklonger hours through the peakof the season.

This role requires some degree of fitness as there will beheavy lifting at times. Full on-site training andallwork-relatedprotectiveequipmentwillbeprovided.

You will be responsible for:
* Processing customer orders & inquiries in a prompt,efficientand courteous manner
* Loaderand forklift operation including maintenance
* Fixed plantoperation
* Taking a proactive approach towards environmental, healthand safety matters


The successful applicantwillhave:
* A valid full, Class 1 and F endorsed forklift driver’slicence (minimum requirement). Loader licenceisdesirable (W endorsement)
* Good communication skills with the ability to relate well to others and contribute to a positive team environment
* Proactive attitude to health, safety and environmental management.
* Good computer skills are preferred although training isprovided for ourin-house systems
