Sporty.co.nz is the largest platform for community sport in New Zealand providing websites, online registrations, member management, competition management and eCommerce solutions to the sports and education sectors all over the country. Its sister service, Schoolground.co.nz, is the largest provider of websites to Kiwi schools.

At Sporty, we do some pretty clever things with the aim to make things easier, faster, smarter.

Who we are looking for

Currently we have an exceptional opportunity for a capable and resourceful Support Executive who will work closely with the CEO in a rewarding and varied role. The focus of this role will be on supporting our continued growth and delivering outstanding customer service. We are looking for someone whose attributes are grounded in energy, drive, determination, initiative, teamwork, relationships and responsibility.

Here is what you’ll need to do to thrive in this role:

  • Become the vital ‘get stuff done’ person, quickly grasp what is needed and get on with it
  • Be telepathic at seeing what needs to be done and take such tasks off the CEO
  • Support the team and make their job easier
  • Be responsible for documenting internal processes and support systems
  • Be able to draft an EDM and ensure its dispatch to the right database
  • Take on the office admin and ensure all systems are go
  • Be able to deal with customer enquiries and communication
  • Have a good understanding and interest in technology and digital platforms
  • Volunteer to take on projects and see them through
  • Be the unflappable sense of calm in a fast-moving environment
  • Become the Sporty all-rounder, able to anticipate and proactively deliver
  • Get along with almost anyone
